11.10.2010 - Homepage Review - Site Check The new website has been switched offline and looks great.
Unfortunately, web designers often forget the technical requirements of a web presence. The new website is said to be not only decorative, but also bring new customers. This can of course only if the pages by search engines can be properly seen and searched and the page in all browsers (Internet Explorer / Firefox / Opera / Safari) are shown.
Some Checkpoints:
- correct HTML style
- correct robots.txt sitemap.xml there exists
- avoid duplicate content, page with or without www
- META Keywords and META Description not available and to long
- Imprint
- present and correct any copyrighted images and text, source photos without specifying
- readable personal data, such as identification
- ALT text for images available
- Grammatically good sentences and lots of text
- not only Flash content page without Flash representable (iPad iPhone Compatible)
- For search engines logged DMOZ logged
- phone numbers in the text readable format stored
- cause all links to achievable goals
- all files in a better Small font
