They claim for the first time a rock grooves to have found in Lake Chiemsee, is not a limestone, but a "silicate rock in the form of a sandstone. The anonymous author says here now to see a typical regmaglypts sculpture. And actually follows the discovery of any of the previously submitted furrows stone sample. First, it would be really unusual grooves found on a siliceous sandstone, but these phenomena are actually limited to carbonates. Secondly, the expression of the sculpture is quite unusual. The imaged depressions and pits are not typical of furrows stones, they are actually too large and prominent circular. Our measurements (Huber & Goetz, 2010) at Chiemsee furrows stones showed a narrow width of about 3-10mm for the furrows. The pits on the newly submitted sandstone with 1-3 cm wide but always well. For clarification, I have the handle and the essential Structures attached here as a sketch.
